La Chemise de Peau is Inês Henriques, a visual artist from the ancient city of Lisbon, Portugal. She likes to explore shape, texture and memories, developing ideas around the things she's most inspired by, such as old family portraits, vintage postcards, sugarcubes and burnt plastic.

You can find her photographing scaffolding or sculping plaster with dental instruments.

"I'm constantly inspired by family portraits, long forgotten ephemera, and revealing obscured forms and shapes in my copper engraving sheets. Sometimes the results surprise me, as hidden meanings and outlines become clear - while sometimes as ambiguous as a Rorschach inkblot, they hide in themselves deeper patterns that are not apparent at first."
