"Hurry up, it's almost time!"

Élodie was covered in frosting, her polka dot apron almost invisible under a cloud of icing sugar.

"I'm trying! Three more lanterns to go, and then the balloons!", shouted Sophie, climbing up the creaky stepladder. "And stop eating all the candy!"

Élodie gently bit into another gummy worm, and asked "What about the presents? The boxes are pretty enough, maybe just a white satin ribbon will do?"

"Perfect", said Sophie. "Now go get dressed, Miette is almost here!"
